¡Hola! I am Lindsay Heard, or better known as Señora Heard. I teach Spanish at A.E. Phillips Lab School and help with technology in the school. I love teaching Spanish, and I especially love the wonderful students I get to teach. I feel so blessed to be at such a special school and community as A.E. Phillips. I grew up in Shreveport and graduated from Byrd High School. I went to Louisiana Tech where I received my Bachelor's in Spanish and a minor in history. I also returned to Tech to get my Master's in Education with a concentration in technology. While at Tech, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Costa Rica. I have traveled to Spain twice, France, Costa Rica, Mexico three times and Jamaica. I have also been many places in the United States. Two of my favorites are Boston and Colorado! I love being outdoors, playing or watching sports, running, biking, swimming, fishing and gardening. My very favorite thing is spending time with my wonderful children, Caroline, Savannah, and John Todd as well as my wonderful husband, Richard.
